COMPOSITION
In this series of paintings, I manipulate the structure of the canvas stretcher by incorporating components that physically protrude into space thus breaking the picture plane into a dimensional surface. I stretch canvas over the resulting structure, creating a form that blurs the line between painting as representation and painting as objects.
